Many questions pop up in my mind as to what exactly the plague doctor put into that drink. The world will probably never know.
I almost love the fact that when the girl in the fourth panel shows him genuine concern and kindness, he just flatly denies her (whether he simply disliked her pity, flatly doesn't trust her, or otherwise). A little sad for me too, because if I were in that scene, I would have undoubtedly done the same thing that the girl had. Cruel, but that's who this "beloved" plague doctor is. Well, I guess that might be why Sylvia seems to be his only "trusted" company. Oddly and perhaps thankfully, that doesn't deter me from liking this character a lot.

It's an amazing art style you're using here. Looks like bleeding paint on canvas compared to anyone else in this tourny. How long does it take you to make something like this? I won't lie, it's hard for me to picture someone finding the time to make a full-fledged round in this kind of quality. Especially at the narrative pace you're using.

It does take some precious time, it takes me almost a week to finish one page, not because I work it everyday,but because of the exact opposite!
I don't even find the time or courage to work on it! My university life kills all the free time. So to be honest, it would take only one or two afternoons of slow work and tea to actually finish a page, and imagine that I use a hasty style to keep up with others...the deadline is becoming a pain in the ass. I will try to finish the whole round 1 with 2-3 more pages or else I won't get it in time.....I hope for the moderators to give me some more extra time, even if it is a single day
Any way, thanks again for your interest, and I must say as well, that you two guys are doing a great job, your scenario totally beats mine, I mean yours has fuckin humor! true awesomeness! and the quality is enough cartoony and enjoyable to make it even better! Keep it up please, I hope to see you in round2 as well
