I'm still learning how to anatomy but I think I did a pretty peachy job on this guy. So who is he?

Name: Hjarta

Age: He lost count after 60
Identifies as: Male

Element: Has no breath abilities but can look cute as hell.

Height: 2.5m (8ft) at the shoulder.
Length: 5m (16ft) from nose to tail.
Physical Description: Born blind, the features on this dragon's body are all practical to navigate his world. Two sets of ears allow for strikingly accurate hearing; as he's able to catch both the distance and location of sound. This skill gives him the ability to navigate relatively normally despite having no sight. Spikes adorning each shoulder are used not just for combat and defense, but for physical sense as well. Unlike most horns, the ones Hjarta wears come with nerves lining the grooves within them. With this sense he's able to understand where his body is in relation to other objects, i.e: a narrow pathway. The horns throughout his body carry this sense with them, including the ones perched on his head. The long whiskers, coming in three sets of different lengths, allow for more accurate exploration of his world. He uses them to touch and identify objects as well as judge distances when moving. He'll often touch any object with the two longest whiskers before he takes a step. These whiskers are also used to gauge temperature which protect him from putting his muzzle into anything too hot or too cold. Most striking of his features are the quills sprouting from his lower back. These sensory organs are vastly more sensitive than any other part of his body. They're stiff, hardy, and difficult to break. They are not as flexible as his whiskers and therefore hardly used to exploring tactility. What then is the true purpose of these sensitive quills? He uses them to gauge speed, temperature, as well as knowing where his back end is in relation to the rest of his body. They're also mildly light sensitive, tilting toward brighter light by nature. Some would claim they act as very primitive eyes but that is hardly the case. It is not known exactly why they're sensitive to light. Hjarta also uses them in courtship. Their sensitivity makes it very stimulating to the dragon when they're touched.

His body is well armored, thick plates line his underline from his throat to the mid point of his tail. His topline is lined with thicker scales as well, giving him armor and protection against aerial attacks. However this leaves his sides vulnerable as his hide is not considerably thick. Built for speed, he has an uphill frame with free floating shoulder blades giving him a surprising range of motion. Unlike much of his kind, his body is more compact and less flexible, more mammalian than serpentine. However, his spine is still flexible much like a cheetah's to give him good maneuverability while running. His thigh muscles are long and thick, giving him the ability to power along at rapid bursts of speed. He cannot run at speed for long distances but can maintain a steady but slow trot over many miles. His tail is long but densely muscled, aiding in balance during movement. The folds of skin on either side of his tail act to balance the tail as well.

His color and markings are strictly for display.

He cannot swim well at all. Much like most cats, he avoids water at all costs except to drink. He can tread water for short distances but is a poor swimmer.

Intelligence 0-10: 10 - Highly intelligent
Personality: He's quite the mysterious beast. He doesn't speak much of his history; actually he doesn't speak much at all. He's secretive about his day to day life and can disappear at random and not be seen for weeks, only to return as if nothing happened. Despite this, he has a good nature, a good heart, and wishes no harm on most. He's respectful to all creatures, including his prey. He values knowledge and will go at great lengths to learn. Hjarta does have a bit of a temper, and can become downright aggressive when he's pushed to it. He can be quick to display violence for the sake of proving a point even to those smaller or younger than him. He's a natural born leader and is often considered very wise. This praise fills his ego and he can be quite selfish and borderline narcissistic. He's stubborn and can act quite foul in formal situations. He rarely cares what others think as long as he's respected.

Generally, though, he's very pleasant to be around. He enjoys making friends and cracking jokes. This dragon also enjoys the company of others in his bed. He's loyal and does his best never to let close friends and loved ones down; even if it means hurting others in the process. Hjarta is a decent being over all, but not without his rather annoying faults!
