got nostalgic and went thro some ol fanart I did on my ded rp blog, I always tend to do these things when I should actually sleep B') ANYWAY dis is definitely one of those pictures I still love a lot, cause he is looking handsome and I managed somehow to draw this with my own two hands... this fandom def inspired me for a long time to try myself on human anatomy again, where I hope I won't stop too soon, but sadly I still lack some creativity there, did more Headshots than fullbodies, but those appeared sometimes too. Meanwhile on reddit, the novel is soon fully translated and that feels like yet another end for bleach. Also no worries, I don't intend to spam this account with human art, for that suffers my tumblr blog harrharr, but m proud of this piece and nostalgic, and idk when I am not uploading anything for days, feels weird... also lemme show my skill in human art. While I somewhat lost interest in Aizen, I still treasure him a lot, but more the friend I won thro him, who rped him in the past, SHE DID such an amazing portrayal and her writing was so good... so whenever I see him, thinking of good times.Βbtw, husband TM who will never love u

but we just got some artbook which was 97% old art, and two novels, and especially Can't Fear Your Own World, gonna make you wish, Kubo had included all that stuff in the manga but nope... meanwhile still seeing ppl complaining about the end ships too.
I became a pretty late fan |D I didn't know of its existence for such a long time, but damn did the fandom die down when the manga was finished. SO YES, very sad!!! Also I loved the art style for the characters, idk... it had some nice semi-realism, which I see atm rarely in new mangas.Β

I think it's mainly about how it ended? As far as I know, Kubos editorial team rushed him into ending the manga so that kinda sucked. I just really want to see this great series to return to its former glory. XD
I've never finished the entire anime because life happened, but I am slowly working on rewatching it and fully to the end for that time. I've only watched until the end of the entire arc with aizen and then stopped.
As for the style, I ABSOLUTELY agree. Bleach has one of the most awesome artstyles in media and I'll never change my mind about that. I had a time where I realised I was taking a lot of that stylization into my own non-published human art actually, despite having stopped watching for a long time already. XD

I also heard it was because of health issues, that he wanted to end it quickly himself, idk there has been a bunch of interviews and idk anymore, it def could have been possible even with so less pages left, to give the readers a bit more than just some kiddies, on one page you surely could have shown several characters in their own world again or something, to show that they are alive. AND YEAH that would be awesome TwTΒ
I never rly watched the anime in the first place, after dragonball |D and seeing sometimes one piece or so in tv, I had no more the nerves to watch such long animes, since in some episodes barely happens anything. With Aizen came kind of a big end, after all what should happen next? The Fullbringer Arc was ... if given more time, material, ... it def could have been good but nope. I thought it would be a mini arc, where Ichigo questions more Soul Society and its past, also Urahara and his father but nope nope... the Shinigami were kind of presented like the heroes again. ALSO I always wanted that Uryuu meets Mayuri again B')) if he would fight again or srsly forgive. THERES SO MUCH I WANTED *cries*Β
YESSSS, when I do fanart of em, I often try to copy the style... since only in that style I find em really sexy - can do them justice |D like Aizen, I loved his eyes and I wouldn't know how to draw them differently but still with the same intensity, for that are my human skills/creativity still too low. Finding your own style rly is a long way, esp one you gonna like in the end!Β

That might be a reason as well. Either way, the ending was rushed and that's never a good thing. I'm working on my own comic as well, and my first rule was that I'm going to not rush things, just because of how Bleach went down the drain. I don't want that to happen. :c
I watched mostly the anime because I was a lazy teenager. I have read some mangas though, and got myself the official character book souls just to know stuff about all the characters. XD
After Aizen, at least back then, that was just kind of where I would have expected the series to end. Everyone goes home, mourns their dead and continues on about their lives, you know? I would have expected maybe some sort of spin off series after it, with a different main character maybe, who knows.
Seeing Uryuu and Mayuri fight again would have been such a big thing for many fans, I assure you. That was one of the best fights in the series after all. XD
I've never done fanart, but I used to have a bunch of Bleach OCs, many of which are trashed at this point though because they're very early characters from my teen years. They were terrible let me tell you! Maybe I should do fanart at some point, when I'm confident enough with my human art at least.
