I must be having some artistic muse or something, or the ability to make myself work has increased ten-fold. Amazing.

This is a piece of Zatraceny, my mutated horse of love and cuddles who has a tortured life by all means. Because I'm just such a loving mother to him.

Anyway, Zatra's been wanting to be painted for a while now, and I finally just.. got up and did it. Tried a painterly style, this time. I'm having fun developing methods of painting right now. Who knew it could be so much fun? xD;

By the way: he's a bioluminescent stallion; black by nature, and in the daylight, his markings barely show up. They're a bit darker than his coat, so he just... looks like a normal mutated horse of.. mutatedness. Yeah. Also, expect a piece in the future of him in more of a frontal view, and probably with his mouth open so you all can see his lovely pearly whites and other details about him (his tongue is so much fun -- well, everything about him is).

Critique and such is welcome. I'd love to know what you all think, what you see that I've missed, what should be fixed, that kind of thing.

Spent roughly.. 4-6 hours on this? I'm not sure, I wasn't keeping time. Just started painting.
