Glad to hear that, thanks! I used a simple blue colour pencil for the iris and the black pastel one for other parts.

wow, they look so pretty! I'm going to have to start drawing different things other than ICP stuff. Since they have white pace paint it's hard to do any shading on their faces...

I love her to bits. Thought from photos i've seen of Liv personally i don't think it looks like her but its still amazing. How do u get the pencil so smooth on the page. I have huge problems with seeing the strokes of my pencil when sketching.and i can never get the smooth shading. whats your secret or do u just have any tips?

Thanks for your nice words. The tchnique is quite simple- add some graphite, then blend it with some cotton wool. Then add some more graphite, where it is needed and maybe blend again. Depends on what material you want to achieve.

Wow....you almost never see Liv Tyler looking that gorgeous. She should seriously style her hair like that more often. Is that from a photo reference, or did you make it up based on what you know of her? I love this piece! I do!!

I used a photo reference.
I'm not a big fan of Liv, but I really liked her style in that pic.
The hair took me ages this time, but it was fun to draw...

The shading on this is absolutely gorgeous! The only think I can fault is that the right arm looks as if it is in the wrong position, or that it is somebody else's arm and not hers but damn, this is a brilliant piece!
