Hi,After trying out some new techniques I'm back to my beloved graphite.
This drawing took me more than I expected (about 1,5 month), mostly because I couldn't force myself to start that huge, dark background for a long time.The idea of this pic is something about everyone, having several different sides of themselves. But I'd love to know how YOU understand the concept.
I'd like to dedicate the drawing to dear , together with a biiig Thanks for the nice surprise.
Tools:
*Watercolour paper, size between A4 and A3
*B and 2B lead pencils (both mechanical and simple ones)
*Crimson colour pencil
*Kneadable and simple soft erasers
*Some cotton buds

Thank you!! Graphite is not that difficult, just keep experimenting here and there, like blending, erasing, and you'll soon become satisfied with the results!

I really love this piece. It reminds me of my 13 year old daughter. She is a Hot topic shopping, non girlie girl, ballet dancing, young Marine. Talk about a million sides to the same coin. She loves her Tripp pants and her dark clothes, but she has a bubbly, contagious personality. She is so sarcastic and loony and heartfelt all at once. She would do anything for a friend and her family and she loves to be with everyone, but at the same time she is has no problem being alone. She will never fit in with any one group and she loves it.
