The copper colors came out kind of well . . . weird . . . but what the heck. I guess it worked out ok.

I'ld say it's a good start but it's lacking detail & texture in a large percent of the image. Even a textured background layer that covers a large amount of the image would have helped. I'm a detail & texture freak myself & don't get enough of either in my work too. Mainly because I'm not apt at masking well yet that's an area I need to progress at. There's a section in the UF help that explains using images in UF, I need to check that out as well. Then loading a texture image & using masking in upper layers would reveal that texture in the fractal. Another good idea that just crossed my mind is creating a focal point in the fractal. I've known about that for years but never thought to apply it to fractal work until just now writing to you. Some thoughts you might want to consider. I'ld say the larger sphere here in your image is like the focal point. Signature's a bit too large though.
