Ariel and her father, King Triton had gotten into yet another disagreement which left Ariel swimming away, angry. Her mother, Athena, had been watching behind a pillar and she swam after her youngest daughter. Taking her hand gently and swimming back to face her. "Sweetie...don't get too upset" her mother said, trying to calm her upset daughter down as best she could.This is sort of a 'What could have happened' if Athena, Ariel's Mother, hadn't died. It was for my mother's mother's day gift as well as for the mothers day contest #Disney-club is holding (finished in the nick of time!)
I've only drawn Ariel before when I was little, and never her mother, so this was definitely a new experience for me but it was fun!

Someone needs to teach Triton how to control his temper! But none-the-less, it is good art.

The disasterous things that could have been avoided if Athena lived, Triton wouldn;t be so hot headed and would destroy Ariel's things and Athena would have been Ariel's voice of reason to help her think before she acted.

I'm am creating an alternate timeline based on that too. But my story begins in the 23rd century and it involves the alternate universe from the 2009 Star Trek movie. The principle antagonists include Ursula and the Aliens from the Alien series. I hope you like the first eleven chapters so far and number twelve is in production.
