12 Hours remaining... At least where I'm at.Yeah, I preordered Kingdom Hearts III and am currently resisting the dark temptation of watching leaked videos of the game. I want to go in as blind as possible, so please leave spoilers out of the comments until at least 1 week has passed.
My experience with the franchise as a whole started with the very first game in the series. It was a magical time, when I was only about 12 or so and entering into the teenage-angst years to come. I had never played a single Final Fantasy game at the time, but I was a huge fan of Disney, so me and my brother had a heck of a time with it. Some of my earliest memories of the game were:
-The dream sequence at the beginning of the game, complete with questionnaire.
-Cloud being the coolest guy ever (and my first foray as an Anime heart-throb).
-Raging at Clayton, Maleficent's dragon form, and Ansem, Seeker of Darkness possessing Riku.
-Halloween Town. Just... Halloween Town.
My favorite in the series is Kingdom Hearts II, as it added a bunch more content and story to the game, with loads of plot twists and familiar characters. Stitch, of course, was my favorite Disney character, so he was my go-to summon throughout the entire game (he was really helpful against Demyx. His stupid catchphrase still buzzes in my head though...).
As for every other game in the series, I kind of left them on alone and watched playthroughs of them instead, not realizing they were relevant to the overall plot of the series. In any case, I'm pretty much caught up with it and I'm ready as I'll ever be to play the newest installment and series finale.

Slayed all the secret bosses in every Kingdom Hearts game?

Oh, heavens no. The only secret boss I managed to beat was the Ice Titan in Olympus Coliseum in the first game, and that's about it.
And don't even get me started on Sephiroth... I tried, really I did, but he's way too hard for a casual player like me.

Just believe in the power of strike raid; that’s what Nicob and I did and it worked. Just look up Nicob platinum match on YouTube. I understand in the case of Aqua’s reflected Shadow; there’s a fixed pattern you have to follow or else you’re going to get wrecked, and no where does the game give you advice on how to better deal with the enemy. There’s also a video where someone hacked the second game so he had infinite drive power (wish you could do that normally) and always have antiform, and the result: Sephiroth’s humiliation in less than 3 minutes (the anti form is more powerful than the final form, but oh so hard to control.

haha, I'm looking forward to KH3 as well, thoth since I don't have a PS4 I'm gonna have to wait till 1 of my other friends to get the game and then let my play it on there's, or until a Final Mix port is released on Switch... It might be a wile XP
