History
Part of [the Father]’s newest line of fusion experiments, the Ultra Beast Fusions (UBF). With the onset of warp technology, [the Father] now has access to teleporting entities from alternate dimensions into Lahgenias, from Pokémon of different types and species to completely alien lifeforms.
The first of many such lifeforms dubbed the Ultra Beasts (UB) comes in the form of a semi-translucent jellyfish creature with glass-like skin and parasitic abilities. It has an innate instinct to latch onto the heads of select hosts for survival purposes, taking full control of the host’s mind and body, gaining access to their abilities, motor functions, and even speech. It seems to prefer the bodies of medium-sized Pokémon with exposed heads, as the UB will not be able to fully encapsulate the heads of larger Pokémon, and smaller Pokémon will be digested within its body. Those with poison immunity are unaffected by the UB’s mind-control, but regular hosts will slowly wither away from prolonged exposure to its digestive toxins, eventually becoming braindead in a matter of days. This entity is dubbed UB-01, the Symbiont.
Fusing UB-01 with the DNA of a Zoroark corpse and a corrupted Zubat soul produced this UBF as a result, dubbed UBF-001. Multiple eyes have appeared on its face, arms, legs and hair; said-hair has also morphed into a pair of extra tentacles similar to arms. The eyes can look around independently from the UBF’s main head, giving it almost no blind spots.
After testing, UBF-001 retains its ability to parasitize victims. The hair-tentacles will ensnare the victim’s head and seep their poison into the host’s orifices, warping their minds to take full control of them as before. However, this method of parasitic control is not limited to the sizes of Pokémon, as the tentacles are now small enough to ensnare smaller hosts and it can ride atop the backs of larger ones. Once it has parasitized its host, the UBF will use illusions to make its true body invisible while the host’s body remains, and is undetectable by most heat-sensing technology due to its half-dead, alien body structure. Pokémon that are immune to poison are also affected due to the toxin's mixed spectral energy.
Extras/Fun Facts
...Yep! We're going full science-fiction horror with these next fusions. These new creations are also up for cameo appearances in your own stories, that is if you want to really put your readers on edge. >:3
The inspiration for this particular design comes from Pokémon Sun & Moon (both the games and the anime), where the antagonist Lusamine merges with her Nihilego.
