I'm so happy that Vertical is translating some of the series now. I love me some Osamu Tezuka. I'm such a dork I bought the comic book exclusive limited edition hard covers too.Black Jack is an unlicensed doctor who is famous for being able to cure even those deemed impossible to cure. His assistant here is Pinoco, who he pulled out of her twin sister that she'd been growing inside for eighteen years as a Tetyrogenous Cystoma. Her sister rejected her, so she lives with Black Jack and proclaims herself his wife. Black Jack however treats her pretty much like a daughter.
