My OCs only wield keyblades because they're in an AU where everyone and their grandma has them.

Grace wields the Keyblade, but i never draw her with it, I rarely draw her. But she´s terrible wielding it and that´s the point in order that she has to learn the hard way...

If anyone knows about KH X/Chi all the players wield a keyblade. -.- So what's the difference if someone's OC, (Like 2 of mine) wield a keyblade? Seriously. Eventually there's gonna be tons of keyblade wielders again so.............

Anyone outside the KHMMDC seems to get butthurt about this but I honestly don't understand why... sounds just like another stupid reason to hate our community ._.

I really don't understand why OCs always gets criticized or called a Gary Stue / Mary Sue because they can wield a Keyblade >_>
It's kinda annoying when a Keyblade is the criteria to determine whether or not a OC is a Stue/ Sue. (And besides that: A Keyblade kinda is the main weapon of the main characters so what? I don't get it... >__>)
Who doesn't like that my OC can wield a Keyblade, doesn't have to read my FF.

I seriously agree! Wielding a keyblade is NOT equal to whether their OCs are Mary Sues/ or Gary Stues. It's not like I make them the most powerful keyblade wielder in the universe or something. XD

For example:
My OC Aerin can wield a Keyblade and uses mostly fast attacks and magic (because it fits her character). But she doesn't have high physical strength and also has some weaknesses (you could say she fights like Aqua or Ventus but in her own way).
I think the right combination is important just like the background story.
In my opinion I think you first have to read a little bit of the story so you get a feeling for everything and THAN you can tell if the OC is a Mary Sue or Gary Stue.

Exactly! My OC Devanie is really good at physical attacks and defense, but she's not very good at magic and doesn't use it that often. (she's a bit of a rookie) Another thing is that even Keyblade Masters have their strong and weak areas. ^_^

In the keyblade graveyard there's loads of keyblades that could only mean that there're loads of keyblade wielders

My Hero OC, Enko, has one but does not know how to use it, only slices stuff with it, He takes shooting guns over learning spells any day.
Renemac (Villain OC) though, That SOB is a sorcerer so he probably knows the darker secrets to the Keyblade.

Unrelated, but am I the only one who thinks that the backstory behind the Keyblade War was a response to everyone and their mother giving their OC a Keyblade (like how Xion and Namine were supposed to be takedowns of the Mary Sue trope)?

I personally think that if a character is mine I can do whatever I want with it -w- Is there a problem if he/she can wield a Keyblade? I personally think not. I'm not pretending my OC is canon for the actual KH games after all ewe
