Here's a piece I've been slowly working on for the past month! It's kind of a remake/ reinterpretation of this number that I did back in 2015:Β
I absolutely love drawing Simba and Bambi together, one because they're my favorite Disney characters and two because the journeys they take in their movies are incredibly similar. I decided to take the same setting from the previous piece (in the Pridelands) however it was difficult to choose a location because realistically these two characters would never cross paths XD I also wanted to do a happier interpretation because I've noticed that I often go for sadder themes in my Disney Fanart ^^'
This was such fun to do, I hope you like it!

Simba the King Lion is an Italian animated series and it was distributed by Mondo TV
and I think The two characters were also inspired from two Disney animated films, including Simba was inspired and based from the character of the same name from Disney's The Lion King franchise and Buckshot was also based from Bambi, the character from Disney's 1942 animated film of the same name

I think that these two would make awesome best friends if they were to meet in some AU. I think they could confide to and eventually find comfort and peace in eachother at losing a parent at such a young age!
