Simba the King Lion is an Italian animated series and it was distributed by Mondo TV
and I think The two characters were also inspired from two Disney animated films, including Simba was inspired and based from the character of the same name from Disney's The Lion King franchise and Buckshot was also based from Bambi, the character from Disney's 1942 animated film of the same name
