One night Tigerclaw goes into Serenes room, she is about to go to him but he tells her to stay where she was, he then approached Serene and caressed her cheek as he spoke.

Tigerclaw: I am too dangerous for you to let your guard down around me, little one...A day will come when you will be at Shredder's mercy and i cannot let my feelings for you stop me from carrying out his wishes, for your safety i tell you this now...treat me as your enemy..or dont be around the turtles...
Serene: its too late for my guard to be up, i broke that down when i realized i fell for you...and this whole thing between us has been a risk since...ever and i do just fine under pressure so dont threaten me tigerclaw...
(she looked away when a growl came from tiger claw)
Tigerclaw: i didnt mean to come off as such, why do you think im here telling you this?!
Serene:she sighed knowing why she nodded to him-......the best i can do is pretend to hate you like the turtles do...would that be acceptible to you?
Tigerclaw: No, its not, you would still be in potential danger and i will not allow harm to come to you, i swore to that.
Serene:-she looks down- I remember...
Tigerclaw: sighed- Serene...
Serene: laid her hand on his wrist gently, feeling tears stream down her cheeks- Tigerclaw...
