"Long time ago there lived a witch who cultivated pumpkins in her garden for Halloween. And upon the harvest she carved spooky lanterns out of them. She placed them all over her house: near the fireplace, near the cauldron, near the huge bed hidden behind the velvet canopy...
She put on a special dress for the Coven, a hat... and only shoes remained to be put on... when suddenly... .someone rang the doorbell. A black cat, who was sleeping peacefully in a striped armchair, jumped up and the fur on his back stood on end. “These silly kids again, only scaring Mister,” the witch thought. Taking a handful of candies from the table, she opened the door, but no one was seen in the fog. “Take the candies and go home - there’s no point in hanging out in the streets so late,” - Lady Lua angrily flashed her glasses into the darkness. And then a vague silhouette appeared from the fog. It didn’t look like kids at all. “Who’s there?” “What do you want?” she asked, raising her tone. “I’m lonely - play with me,” a dim voice from the mist slightly dispelled the fog with its breath. “You really don’t know who you’re talking to, poor thing, get out of here while you’re in one piece,” having started to cast a spell, the witch did not have time to complete it when she was picked up and carried away in the most strange way.
Everyone who saw Lady Lua that night said that she galloped across the fields riding a huge pumpkin and shouting something about that she didn’t want to offend it, ad that she simply didn’t notice it amongst the leaves."
