Yes at this age. They will double in size in a couple days, but they were even tinier on Saturday.

Well in the wild life expectancy is low, like 3 months if they are lucky. So they have to grow fast to have a chance of having litters themselves. You think about it, most everything is out to kill or eat mice. Cats, dogs, snakes, birds, not to mention humans.
