I'm still on the fence about making 3D art; every image I make is a massive pain in the neck and even after 15 years, it never gets any faster or easier. I learned a lot making this though (had to repaint most of Smacky and Eri's dresses by hand because of huge poke-through) and I enjoy making pics that try to tell a little bit of Smacky's story. Still, I think if this was a simple 2D drawing with cute Eri and Smacky chibis, I'd like it a lot more. There's just something about drawn art that I don't think 3D can ever match.
Anyway, I hope you like it and thanks very much for taking a look!

Wonderful poses and expressions. Love the illustrative look to this one, the vibrant colors. The blurred bird in the front and some in the back really create a falling feeling and you really feel how the girl struggles not to fall. The POV nicely enhances that. Wonderful work.

Haha, actually I wasn't thinking of the PA sale because I'm kind of spoiled now and 30% off isn't enough of a discount to buy something I don't absolutely need. Smacky and Eri probably don't need much of a discount to justify buying more than they should though.Β

The new Orestes stuff looks great and his products are always very well made...I just can't justify spending $14 on a rowboat or spiderwebs unless I have a specific image in mind. Thanks for reminding me about the freebie too.Β
