This is sooo beautiful. The posing of the 2 warriors being slaughtered is simply perfect, the way you get them spinning and flying backwards with the force of the strike, the expressions of horror and pain, the arms and legs almost flailing out of control as they spin and fly. Such poses are as good as it gets in the genre of combat art featuring warrior women at that magical moment of being slaughtered. Definitely one of my hot favourites.

Thanks again for the descriptive comments, I always enjoy reading them. I still like this image after all this time and wish I could make something similar but improved one day.

Doesnt that ever bother you when shadows around their edges look too dark?

This was made at a time when my software did not support indirect or global/HDRI lighting, so avoiding dark edges was very difficult without adding too many lights.

I still get it sometimes with Poser Pro 2012 if I don't use Gamma Correction or do some other stuff along with GC, and that oftne makes my renders look too damn washed out. Then there are times when I don't get the dark edges, they are hard as hell to avoid.

Lot of bad bellies and nipples laid to waste

A very beautiful piece! ...The one lying on the ground there is just my type. It's too bad she's an evil demon! The belly is adorable...

Heh, yeah I've always liked that demoness too. Thanks very much!

Another thing I also been wondering ...I hear all these 'nicknames' I guess, for different kinds of bellies. What would they call that one? Or heck, what even is her kind of body shape? It's hard to tell exactly with her cringing on the ground like that haha.

I...don't know what nicknames you're talking about actually. I'd probably say she's "shapely", that seems to be a polite word and can mean sexy and having a bit of weight.

Shapely seems about right to me, yeah. I asked because I've seen some of the terms they use to try and describe differing mid-sections and it was more of a momentarily curiosity.

Yeah you're really not going to find that level of customization in any game. It will take either 3D modeling or the kind of software that I use (DAZ Studio) to shape individual areas of the body like that.
I made this a really long time ago, so I don't remember exactly how long it took. Probably something like two weeks, that's about how long these big 'finished' images sometimes take me.

Unfortunate, on the note of customization in games. Maybe one day, if they can find a way to simplify it enough or if someone actually thinks to make that kind of shapeliness an option ...that'd certainly be something. I always relied on paper and pens/pencils for my own drawings, and I've never really been able to advance too much further. Lately just haven't had the motivation I guess. Was getting much more into writing, but then some bad things happened this year and now I've encountered a lot of difficulty in maintaining the writing mindset. It's frustrating...

Artblock of any kind is always frustrating. I've been going through a lot of it lately too, sometimes it passes or we find something interesting to do, but other times it can last quite a while. I hope you're able to get back to what you like doing soon!

So do I, thank you. I'm normally pretty crazy when I write stories ...just the last few years now has been especially challenging for me too. And this past year has been nothing but awful for me, just as I was starting to pull myself together. Maybe soon I'll get my mind straightened.
