i really like this.

you should do more of these katie.
very nice style, very simple, yet very beautiful and unique.
something similiar to the style of those myscene barbie commercials.

i love the abstract feel to this; and the way you've experimented with lines and colour.
it has a abstract feeling to it, yet very smooth, and simple, yet i think you were going for a subtle hint of sexiness in this, and then you got that.
not the model herself, or any particular part, just the whole thing; the smooth feeling that you managed to get, the bright bold colours, all make a very good statement, and a very strong one.

i like the contrasts in this. how the yellow contrasts against the blue and grey being brighter, and how the pillows and the girl constrast against the yellow being considerably lighter and paler in comparison. but that yellow definately made a statement, stands out and just looks very good. not only does it make everything else stand out, it contrasts and compliments everything else too.

very nice job with this.

Aaah.

I was inspired by Shag, you'd like his stuff. All about retro sexiness. Don't know if I should do more though. Now I'm into detail. Blame Danny ._.

that's nice.

i feel that art (any form) reflects the person. if the things you do have a simple beauty, then, your art is most likely like that too. danny's art is really detailed and he seems like someone who strives to be perfect, but knows that that can be really hard to get. hard to explain. but a person's personality ALWAYS shows itself in their art. it's something you can't hide. so, i don't know if it is, but if detail is your style, and detail is the way to go, your art will seem 'better' for lack of a better term, because it's something you can just pour your soul into without trying to really acheive something that's unnatural, not hard, but unnatural for you. if it is something that is unnatural and not something you would do a lot, and you really have to think it out (in an unnatural way, like, it has you confuzzled for days) and it's not really your style, then a. it'll not look that good, no matter how perfect it is b. it'll show c. it'll seem odd and awkward d. it just won't look right no matter how much you change it, unless you make it your own.

but you probably know that.

i just felt like talking.

Interesting how you put it that way.

I myself am also a perfectionist. Which is why it takes me so long to even do simple touchups on a photograph. Because I blow things up at 400% and will feel all itchy and stuff if there's one single pixel out of place, if there's the tiniest misplace of colour or the tiniest smudge. I used to be into minimalism, and I still like it and respect it and think it looks awesome, like for architecture and furniture and certain designs for daily commodities like cellphones, but not something I myself would do now. I think I'm into detail now because it's just fun for me to make a piece as interesting as possible, endlessly interesting, eye-candy, if you will.

*licks teh sexeh Katie*

This is almost like a 1940's Noir-ish styling, kinda like Gotham City/Batman type thing, but less blocky and more... iunno... Katie-ish! *giggle*

Cool beans, though, I especially like the sheer little outfit. Very cute. Do you really have one of those? ^.^ Ya know I'd like to see a photo of you in that. *giggles*

Great work, as usual. ^.^
