This painting is extremely difficult to capture, and I found that it actually photographs better not in natural light. So here it is again. I still hate it like poison, especially as a thumbnail, because it just looks so "dirty"... Regardless, thank you for your patience

This is the first painting I've ever made using a projector. Shawn provided the line art based on an idea I had which celebrates my love for Häagen-Dazs' amazing ice cream, specifically my favourite flavours, which always involve cherries (and which they discontinue sporadically), such as Brandied Black Cherry, Cherries and Cream...
It's nice to move away from highly emotional work once in a while and focus on something that's purely fun.

I have never tried to. But let me think. If i put some cream some cherries and some strawberry icecream in my fridge and wait some time i think this beauty would open the door sometime and ask "May i come out now?" OMG! What an imagination!!!

We all have our vices. Things that have us under their control and something that we must almost always either seek out or indulge whenever we are exposed to it. In some cases, individuals are able to control these urges and leave them in a more benign state, enabling us to resume our lives without any issues. Others feel as though these urges have a created an almost physiological need in our subconscious, while in this mind state, we are slowly consumed by out desire to possess these activities or indulgences as we are driven through a plethora of pleasure and enjoyment. Our minds slowly begin to meld with these activities and our bodies almost become one with these needs and deeds. It appears as if we are on or own trans-mental plain that abounds within or minds and desires. Made Like No Other, created by the exuberantly talented `snowmask and the highly talented and imaginative `wroth, gives us a depiction of a personal love of her own: her love of ice cream. In this simple idea, the execution and imaginative artistic display provoke one's mind to explore what may hold us without our mind.
Beginning with the female subject, each artists' signature use of detail and dream like imagery combined does not fail to disappoint the eyes of the viewer. Each and every single brush stroked curve and line upon the female subjects body flows as gently as the ice cream that covers her. The miniscule creases and curves upon her voluptuous lips and silken hair look beautiful, even more so in this strange world she resides in. Slight streaks and lines underneath the woman's eyes and ears, properly simulate wrinkles and subtle hints at age and lingering beauty. A bright color palette perfectly emulates the color and texture of ice cream and gives the piece a deep breath of life and flourish. Even the landscape feels as if it has a mind of its own and simple pops off of the image and straight into the mind of the viewer as it cascades into our imaginations and expands within our thoughts to create a grasping effect on or attentions that will never let go.
As one looks more and more upon the exquisite design style of the piece, your mind is transported to the same strange plain of existence as the mysterious woman. The various curves upon the female subject's body as she loving embraces herself as she stands in a swirling pool of silky custard with cherries floating gently above the surface. How the ice cream encircles the subject as she is drenched in the creamy embrace of the succulent flavors of ice cream, cascading over her body and gently caressing her form with the same love she shares for the creamy treat. The smooth, icy crown of ice cream as it gently rest upon her head, subtly reflecting the light of world about her, all fits so well in this abstract concept of one's personal love for ice cream.
A small thing that could be suggested to fix this piece would be to perhaps alter some of the background depth. As enthralling as it appears, maybe adding some of the cascading ice cream that pours from the ceiling to pour upon other ice cream structures and further exemplify the engrossing feeling that the woman feels in her personal wonderland.
The ice cream, as it surrounds her, can easily mean that whenever the woman indulges in her treat, she is transported to a world that completely surrounds her in the very thing that she loves so dearly: ice cream. It is a place where she is the queen and all of these creamy succulent structures of her domain are her castle and throne: her perfect haven.
What more is there to say about this piece at this point? How the piece truly gives the viewer an outstanding view of art and imagination? How the two artist working together created an outstanding piece that almost transcends both genres in themselves? Such words would not be able to do enough justice to properly express in words the beauty this piece embodies. When I saw this thumbnail, what actually interested me most was the "pop art" feeling this piece gave me. I really like it; you can totally tell how much fun you had.

It was the first time I actually collaborated, and it was a lot of fun. Took me forever to get to it though lol. I think Shawn drew up the lineart maybe a year before I started.
Very different from anything I've ever done, and refreshing to actually paint a background lol.
