I ran into unexpected problems while drawing this one ;_;It turns out that SAI can't handle a canvas that's bigger than 5000 x 6000. It ended up taking more that 5 minutes to save and got super laggy. But I'm happy I finished! First time drawing water, and I can't say I'm extremely happy with it, but it did turn out better than I expected. I wanted to draw mermaid Haru for so long, and I'm so glad I finally did.

Wow, this turned out amazingly well! Love the composition here, it gives it a very surreal and dreamy feeling (other than the fact Haru's a merman, in the sky, and in water 
Considering it's the first time you drew water, it looks very good. The way the clouds seem to wrap around both Makoto and Haru is just great and really makes MakoHaru the focal point here!
(And don't you just love all the shippings in Free! that you can do?! )
