Description
Curling up like a small child,protected from the world,
feeling safe once in a while.
Her bright blue eyes filled with tears
Hiding in the darkest corner
shielded from the world.
Frightened, alone and helpless.
Long ago she had lost her hope,
had accepted her fate,
she had stopped fighting.
Now she was just waiting,
waiting until it was over.
"Leave." she whispers.
"Go away." she tells him.
"But,.." he starts.
"Don't stare at me like that." she utters.
"I know you." he tells her.
"Are you sure?" she replies.
"Yes!" he barks,
"Your eyes are still sparkling,
you haven't given up yet."
"No!" she yells, "Just leave, leave through that door..."
She starts crying.
The emotions roll over her.
Anger, agony and despair.
She feels numb.
He embraces her.
Arms around her fragile shoulders,
holding her, giving her hope,
preventing her from fading away.
