She felt the warm glow spreading through her body as he embraced her. Still it felt wrong and in the back of her head she noticed the small but persistent warning of her subconscious to stop this, immediately. Her fingertips started to glow and she firmly felt the energy flow to her hands and fingers. Through a sudden outburst of energy he was catapulted to the other side of the room and cried out in agony, while she jumped up, horrified by her actions and stumbled out of the room. What had she just done? He had been there to help her, to support her when she had felt dreadful, but what had she done to him when he needed her the most, she had pushed him away.

She was frightened of what would come, when she had to show strength although she felt like falling apart. She had never felt capable of considering others, that’s why she had never chosen to live a life with somebody by her side. Now it had come to a point where she was facing a difficult decision maybe the most difficult in her whole life.
