He was an Inari Fox of a small shrine.
He had a very gentle nature and purified the negative emotions, pain and impurities of those who visited the shrine.
However, as he continued to fulfill his role for years and years, he could not take in the impurities of people.
He turned into monstrous shape and started to sprinkle curses around him.
The sealing talisman on his left shoulder, applied by someone who was kind to him, suppresses the outflow of the curse and prevents his kind personality from fading away.

He pretended to be a human and met her.
He fell in love with her.
He knew that he can't be together with her because he is a fox and even worse, he is cursed.
