Excellent hair strokes and use of the 3/4 head turn. The picture itself is fine in it's pose.
The out of focus background works well here as well though you could've gone for full sharpness in that background as well. I'd say artist's choice. The only critique I have the shadowing behind her. The body shadows are fine. In fact they are more than fine. That is superior coloring. But the shadow behinds her makes it seems as if she is standing in front of background. Unless it's a night, then a full body shadow should appear a bit more dispersed. If you are composing on Layers, this should be easy to correct if it you agree. If after doing so, you think it looks better with the shadow, Then certainly it's artist's choice.

the background is just the style i was trying to go for. i think i understand what you're saying about the shadows too & thank you so much. i kind of noticed that when i was doing it but decided not to change it because i thought it looked fine as it was but it could definitely be changed.
