yo, this tells me what time it is: to go to sleep after endless hours watching this render
and yes, i know i have to crank up the radiosity up a lil more, cos its still a bit grainy...
update: i managed to reduce rendering time to a third, while reworking the hands. well, still needs some more work when i find time for it.

oh, gods! after a few weeks I found it is a... render! render, not photo!!!! lol... I thought it is really good photo in macro mode... but it is 3D art... I... I don't know what to say... I've got it for a few months in my fav's... and all the time I thought it is a photo... Oh, it can't be 3D... it must be a photo... argh!?!?!?!

I'm just amazed. Don't think I could describe what I get from this any other way. Just amazed. It looks so real, just like i could pick it up and put it in my pocket. The detail is wonderful, especially with the minor corrosion and dust that you've managed to apply to both the surrounding metal case and the edges of the glass face. The face overall is done well, again, as the other deviants have said, the hands look a bit odd. They need a good texture, I don't know what exactly you could do however.
I'm still amazed at this, wonderful piece of work.

thanks, yeah, youre right, took about three hours...but i learned a lot about optimizing radiosity,
because it rendered 14 hours before, with no visual difference
