Well I finally drew some Lyra x Silver action. Soulsilver is my favorite pokemon ship.That chikorita... Is terrible.

I always end up naming my rivals the weirdest things. When I first played through Soulsilver, I named him "Stalker" because he was staring through that Pokemon Lab for who knows how long. I also named the Black2/White2 rival "Aflack".

Aww man! Stalker really does suit Silver... Rivals are usually so mean and I end up loving them anyway! But in the new one (Pokemon Y) your rival is really nice and I. Don't. Like. Him.

I thought the rivals in X and Y could have been really interesting, but they just seem like wasted potential to me, unfortunately.
You have like, four rivals following you around. Any development or depth that was given to them seem incredibly forced because there are just WAY too many rivals. None of them, maybe with the exception of Shauna and the protagonist that you don't play as, get enough screen time to establish their character traits well.
I just think they're a bit bland and uninteresting, which really bugs me because they had very distinct personalities and could have been really fun rivals.

I was disappointed with Y. It was short, easy, and lacked new pokemon. It didn't even have a new legendary trio... And the rivals were really easy to beat.

While Unova will forever be my favorite region, I'd have to say Kalos was pretty okay for their first 3D main series game. Of course, that's probably just my nostalgia goggles activating, since X/Y remind me of XD Gale of Darkness. xD
There weren't that many new pokemon, but I didn't mind because a lot of them had really good designs. I had a tough time choosing which ones I wanted to take to the elite four.
Don't worry though. The Hoenn remakes should be better. Everybody loves Hoenn for some reason, and with the updated graphics/game mechanisms/Fairy type and mega evolutions, the remakes will be awesome.

I can't tell if I like Unova the best (Because White and Black 2 were the best pokemon games ever created) or Johto (because Silver and Lyra are awesome)
