Description Well, this is a major work who took almost 7 hours to be ready.

Naruto: It's a vector work with more than 300 shapes made by me this afternoon.

snydx artworx design: simple vector work made with basic forms and some brushes to give some nice details to the design.

I'm adding this work in .psd (Adobe Photoshop) for you to understand how many time i spend with this piece. You can see all the +300 shapes in the layer window all vectorized in full zoom (x1600) for a bether performance. The average of vectors in each shape is around +70 so you can calculate the total number of vectors.

hey thanks for the comment on one of my pieces. no offense, but I don't like the trendy circles and drips on the background. but the vector and the colors are great though. looks like real anime. good stuff.

Now that's a nice example of skill and dedication! Good work, I'm really impressed.

Now let me tell you about my vector technique: Even if programs like illustrator or freehand are the standard for vector graphics, I think they're too much of a hassle. All my vector graphics are done with Flash MX. Have you tried it yet? Once you get used to the tools' behavior, you will find it handles just like a toy. You can even work node-by-node if you want. It really saves you a lot of time and prevents you to hate the piece of art you're working in instead of just enjoy it. You can even export your image to illustrator or photoshop to add the final details. Most people think of flash as an animation program, but it also helps you to get pro vector images very easy.

Damn! I'll go now to get my check to Macromedia, inc. for the lousy commercial...

Really good job here! The cell-shading style works with the character - isn't some things just easier with vector!?! I especially like the backdrop you have going! It's really interesting shape, which I think could work really well as a wallpaper or something! Keep at it, dude!

reminds me alot of GI JOE. do you sketch it out first and scan it in? or do you draw it on a wacom or something, just curious

Very nicely done... I really like how you created your own template for the background.... The hard edges that vector create are ideal for anime style work... however... you could use a gradient mesh to make the different colors blend better.... That's how I created mine... That is also why it looks more like a picture rather than a drawing... but stick to what you're going for... if you think it would look better with hard lines then don't change it... remember you make art for one person... YOU... everybody else is second... I really like this one too... hey I'll add you to my watch list... you can add me too... but it isn't a prerec.... lol... later....

its cool i agree with CRWPman about it looking like a cell shading anyway i like alll of the image apart from the part of the face where you can see the eyes i think a bit more detail is needed there but the clothes are very good
