This is what I'd like to call Link snapping. Well not actually snapping and going ballistic but, snapping and just being very enraged. If you think about it, he just lost his only first friend he made next to Navi. He got his butt handed to him by Ganondorf who has his friend who to Link could either be dead or alive. But hopefully alive.But either way you slice it, he's mad, upset, and like any other kid his age...and after what he went through...you can guess he's gonna have a temper tantrum. Good thing Navi is there to calm him down...or at least snap him out of it.
He can't be all stoic and heroic all the time. Sometimes feelings will have to go burst through one way or another.

Link, if this had never happened you never would have met Sheik, and in the end he probably either would end up dead in the siege or in the very same place he's now. So in the end, this is probably the better choice cause MAYBE you can save him. You know, if he doesn't hate you for not finding and helping him in the next seven years (totally read the wiki)
