Very nice. Playful, colorful... I like it. And with a Salvador Dali influence (not sure if intended or not). What I would add to this is that maybe the whale could have a very subtle reflection in the water and cast some shadow... Not sure about the reflection, maybe it would be off screen. I like your work.

Everything has reflexion except the whale? Nice work anyway.

So I tried following your tutorial (only for the scene set up tip) but I can't seem to get the same effect.
I put your thumbnails side by side, to see a before/after effect to deduce what exactly am I suppose to achieve. I found the overall effect is a sort of grayish yellow tint. From following your tutorial, I don't seem to be getting the colour tint, but more of a brighter image (as if I've just increased brightness/contrast). Mind giving me some tips to what I could possibly be doing wrong, I'm puzzled since it was just three steps and even then I can't catch it. Haha. Is the Photo Filter, Yellow, and Grayscaled blurred, all done on seperate layers, or do you merge layers after each step?
E.g: Apply the Photo Filter, Ctrl+E, new layer, Yellow fill layer, Ctrl+E, duplicate and desaturate blurred and overlay, Ctrl+E. So you're always working with 1-2 layers at most each step.
..or is it...
Apply Photo filter, new layer, Yellow fill layer, duplicated stock, desaturated and blurred. So at the end of the three steps we have 4 layers to create the scene set up?
