Description Him
I walk along the road with Geoffrey, he slowed down his rapid walking to match mine stride for stride. Gently his hand found mine and the heat that rushed up my hand, from his touch, was very pleasantly surprising and welcomed on this cold December morning. I imagined this going on forever, us walking hand in hand, saying nothing and going nowhere in particular. Suddenly I am up against the walk with him leaning towards me, his full lips gently brush against mine, and his hands entangle themselves in my hair. I gently pull away, just so that our noses are touching.
“Everyone can see us,” I moan.
He leans in again and this time kisses me with enough force to bring a light flush to my face and to want more.
“Do I look like I care about everyone else,” he murmurs into my mouth and continues kissing me this time gently opening my mouth using his lips, the sensation brings me to pull him closer and to place my hands in his back jean pockets.
He slowly pulls way, releases my hair to run his fingers down the side of my face, leaving behind a trailing blush. The corners of his mouth gradually turn upwards and into a bright grin.
“Stop distracting me, we have to hurry if you want to see what I have to show you.”
His hands take hold of my face once more and he bents down to first place his lips lightly on my nose and then to bring the full impact of a smouldering kiss on my lips, I hardly had time to react and I seemed to face out. As suddenly as it had started it stopped. He chuckled, took my hand, started to walk and left me to follow him breathlessly.
“Are you sure it’s me that’s distracting you?” I ask.
“Of course, I wouldn’t be able to do that if I was by myself could I?” He replied easily.
“Humph!”
I watch him titter to himself, still dragging me in an unknown direction.
I felt extremely disorientated because I hadn’t been paying attention to where we were going, being lost in thoughts of him tend to do that to me.
“Close your eyes,” he says as he clasps his hands over my eyes.
Standing behind me, he leads me somewhere then halts.
Manoeuvring himself in such a way that his hands are still covering my eyes, but somehow he is standing next to me, I can feel his warmth all over the right side of my body. He removes his hands to reveal the sun setting lightly behind the swan lake. The reflection bringing the illusion that the sun is being slowly consumed by the blood red lake, the swans almost dancing across the imprisoned sun. The sight is so beautiful that it brings tears to my eyes. I turn to thank him, only to find that he is no longer standing next to me. My eyes instantly scan the rest of the empty park. I look back at the lake to find it sunset gone and the swans a mere ghost of what had been.
I close my eyes and fall to the ground in hysterical sobs, the lonely feeling was unbearable, and it was like finally figuring out that you had no one at all by your side. Everything had turned dark and black so quickly I barely had time to let my eyes readjust. I hated this empty feeling like my heart had stopped beating, I might as well be dead.
Very slightly I feel the touch of a warm hand on my shoulder; it’s enough to bring me suddenly back into the light. I look up to find him with a worried look on his beautiful face.
“It’ll all be alright, I’m back now and I won’t leave you again.” He pulls me up into a tight embrace. I continue crying I found the thought of life without him unliveable.
I sniffle and pull away to show him that I was ok; I find a used tissue in my pocket and blow my nose. He takes my hand to reassure me and we start to walk.
To anyone watching her as they walked by this awkward young girl stood by the large ice covered lake smiling and talking, but to who, the park was empty with not a person except for her in it.
