Affiliation: Hero. Mostly does solo work but is an honourary Teen Titan.
Relationships: Note: Chrissy is asexual and is not interested in pursuing any romance for the time being, but below are some bros.
Austin Kimber/Silex : Chrissy and Austin’s families go to the same church so they’ve been in one another’s radius for a while. When they cross each other’s paths in the hero world, it's easy for them both to resolve to keep their secret IDs in tact.
Lucy Taylor/Illusion : Lu is friends with everyone shut up. Nobutrly. Along with Austin, Lucy ends up being one of the very few people who knows who Merkava is behind the mask. Lu even does a magic show for her little brother's birthday party so of course Chrissy has to be friends with her, dangit.
Clyde/Steel : Chrissy ends up kind of co-pet-parenting Clyde with Scott . Scott’s fun, but Chrissy can provide some semblance of actual structure and care. She also convinces Clyde to join the police force with her later on. PARTNERS.

HISTORY
Chrissy had a relatively normal upbringing living with her family on the outskirts of the city. When she was six years old (and her baby brother was barely 6 months), Chrissy and her mother were caught up in a severe bus accident due to a supervillain attack which resulted in her mother’s death. Ultimately this accident would lead Chrissy to pursue both a career in law enforcement and taking up a superhero mantle. It’s also worth noting that she was bullied pretty badly in middle school and ended up transferring schools as a result. Come highschool she takes on a very take-not-shit attitude and - although still a quiet and introverted person overall – develops a great deal of self-confidence. It’s around this time that she starts secretly ‘freelancing’ as a superhero. Only when it doesn’t get in the way of her school work, of course.
PERSONALITY
Generally quiet, preferring to reflect inwardly and think before she speaks. She enjoys school and is very studious overall, often researching something or other outside of her academic duties. Very level-headed, sensible, and responsible, always hard-working and often taking extra tasks on. Keeps calm under pressure. Has a strong sense of justice (not least of all because of her lawyer father) which can unfortunately lend itself to making her generally pretty Judgemental. Initially she comes across as reserved and even somewhat suspicious – certainly slow to trust. Chrissy also holds a mean grudge. Although she maintains a serious air and always takes time to think things over, she's not a total stick in the mud - Chrissy's an unashamed geek over video/computer games (and is a very serious W.o.W player) not to mention she always acts like a huge goof around her 6 y.o bro. FEARS/INSECURITIES
Failure: Concerned about the consequences of any action and inaction she may take. Chris sets incredibly high standards for herself in general and will definitely beat herself up over not meeting them. This spans across all aspects of her life, from school work to being a hero.
Losing her family: Not least of all because she’s already suffered the devastating loss of her mother.
Her secret identity being discovered: Born of a need to protect her family and also preserve her own quality of life outside of superheroing. This is partly why she initially works solo.
POWERS
Enhanced Strength:
Can lift much heavier things than an average person (eg; can pretty easily throw a car).
Able to withstand long periods under pressure – anything from holding back a moving train to holding up a collapsed wall.
Short bursts of strength allow her to punch through walls or crush an apple in her fingertips.
Enhanced Stamina:
Able to do strenuous amounts of physical activity for prolonged periods of time.
Doesn’t tire easily.
Heart rate and breathing remain very steady even throughout physical strain. It takes a lot to get her heart racing or breath rugged.
Enhanced Durability:
Skin doesn’t scratch, break, or bruise easily.
Resistant to burns and catching fire in general.
Can take a gut punch or similar without getting winded.
LIMITATIONS OF POWERS
Only has enhanced durability externally: Chrissy is just as susceptible to any internal interference as a regular person is and would suffer as expected from things such as;
- Digested poisons
- Smoke inhalation
- Oxygen starvation in general
- Internal bleeding (no sword swallowing for Chrissy) Isn’t immune to regular ailments: Similar to the above. From the common cold to pneumonia, Chrissy can catch it all and is still affected by any complications that may follow.
NOT indestructible: Her skin may be bullet proof, but even Chrissy wouldn’t be able to survive a direct missile to the face.
Ultimately mortal: She will die some day, even if it’s just from old age.
SIDE EFFECTS OF POWERS:
Sometimes forgets her own strength. There have been a lot of ‘cheaply made’ mugs which have shattered in Chrissy’s hands.
Rhino Skin :I Needles don’t easily penetrate her skin. (Yes, meaning issues getting medical injections! At some point medical professionals will usually just try and find an oral treatment she can take, but if it’s things like vaccines… uh, they have to crack out the rhino needles? IDK man, Chrissy does her best to avoid needing anything injected into her). This also means dips/IV’s aren’t easy to set up on Chrissy.
SKILLS
Standard self-defensive and combat training
More specific forms of combat training such as Taekwondo and kick-boxing. Her fighting skill set becomes more refined and varied as she gets older.
Becomes proficient at using a variety of firearms.
General knowledge nerd. You want her on your team for quiz night.
Better at strategy and planning than most of my other OCs tbh.

TRIVIA:
Has a pet British bulldog called Jeff. He’s not the brightest button in the box but they love him all the same.
Her family is Christian and they go to church every Sunday. Chrissy then goes for a run afterwards. She gets grumpy if she can't do these things.
Absolutely loves strawberries.
Her parents were butting heads over whether her first name should be Christianna or Alana so in the end they just rock-paper-scissor’d for it. Her dad won with “Chrissy”. c:
Her superpowers come from her fathers side. He has a very subtle expression of hyper-immunity (meaning he’s pretty much resistant to all illnesses) and it eventually becomes apparent that her younger brother has inherited a similar trait that gives him reactive invulnerability.
She’s adamant about keeping her secret identity an actual secret. Her little brother knows because he’s precocious and she can joke that he’s just kidding because he’s six, but she’s worried what her dad might think should he find out. Plot twist: HE ALREADY FIGURED IT OUT CHRISSY. But politely pretends not to know and trusts her to come to him in her own time if she feels like sharing. So long as she doesn’t get hurt and her grades don’t suffer, he’s happy for her. c:
