It would be adorable to see him wear a TR outfit in the show. His trench coat (as seen in Go West Young Meowth) is my favorite though. :3

There's a fanfiction you might like called "Ashes of the Past". It basically involves the world ending; this is naturally bad so Arceus develops a plan that basically boils down to Ash being sent back to his first day as a trainer with all of his memories and skills (including trained up Aura abilities) intact and the ability to restore the memories and skills of any human or Pokemon he knew well enough and had a report with (prompting evolution in Pokemon that did so in the original time-line). The Team Rocket Trio is the first group he does this to (Pikachu is absolute first because he was the first being Ash met that he could do that with and Misty is first human because he ran into her before reaching the next town) and as right now in the story, not only have they made peace with the twerps (though they keep up the rivalry in public for safety's sake; Growlie, now an Arcanine, is dating Brock's Ninetales (the Vulpix he had in the original anime; apparently she wanted to evolve for him)) but they are also considered Team Rocket's number one agents, commended by Giovanni himself repeatedly and even rewarded by him with an Audino as the team's healer and chef (said Audino is considered to be on Brock's level of talent) after a particularly dangerous fight that made him fear for their health and safety; life has also rewarded them with a Moltres and a Cosplay Chu whose costumes grant her special abilities as long as she is wearing them. Beware that it's currently up to 186 chapters and we aren't even done with Hoenn yet (the author has confirmed definitely going through Unova as the original time-line ended around the end of the Black and White anime) if you start reading. It's also nice that the story makes nearly-universal-Scrappy Max of Hoenn into the likable and talented trainer it was always hinted he could be, with him and Ash signing up for a special exception to the starting limits that allows Max (who was just about to start his journey when the original time-line ended) to be Ash's training apprentice.
Overall, if you want a Team Rocket allowed to start at their best and get even better, "Ashes of the Past" does a great job.

Well, Since the Alola form of Meowth will be in the 7th Generation, if the said Generation has an Anime, will there be a side-story involving the Meowth We know finding romance with a Female Alola Meowth?
