Description I love making these very basic pencil & ink comics, they're so much fun. XD In this one I just had ta vent about some frustrations I face a lot as a vegan. Stupid questions. I've had someone ask me if chickens are animals and if fruit is vegan. I'm SERIOUS. People are...special.

XD Gosh, yeah i know how socks feel.
IΒ΄m not a vegan at all, but people are really 'stupid' when it comes to vegetarian and vegans XD
I myself love vegan/vegetarian replacement for meat (forget how i should call this ^^''' )
it is really tasty and i have to say, sometimes i enjoy it when my family(the fathers side) eats only vegan, instead of vegetarian meals X3 It makes me feel really good, but when iΒ΄m honest with myself i could not change from meat to vegetarian for forever.

Aw thanks I know you can get veganized spare ribs -in fact there's a saying out there "anything you can eat I can eat vegan" pizza, burgers, ice cream, ribs, bacon...I can veganize dat!! XD I think MorningStar Farms is one brand that makes them - I've never tried any myself because I was never a rib fan even before I went veggie, but I have friends who love 'em.

Aw don't sell yourself short, you're strong enough to do anything you want.^^ I used to say the exact same thing about cheese..."I could neeever give up cheese" (I was an addict, seriously) but after learning more about the horrific realities for the animals (among other things, health & environment) well...it wasn't hard at all. Plus, Daiya vegan cheese is awesome!!

Oh yeah o.o The vegan cheese was really suprising. First i was like(after i stole bread from my dadXD ) NO! This canΒ΄t be vegan, he sayed: Yes it is. And than it went some minutes from him to me and back, after a while he showed me and i was like: NO! O_O and than i ate another bread with cheese and veggie meat XD

Lmao I don't mind tofu but it's such an awful stereotype that that's all vegans eat I recently saw a t-shirt with the quote "anything you can eat I can eat vegan", soo true gah, I'm hungry now too...I hate when I get hungry after midnight. XD

Seriously, people, veganism isn't that hard of a concept. IF IT'S FROM AN ANIMAL, WE DON'T EAT IT. So I swear to god, if you ask me if I eat cheese or fish after I TELL you that I'm VEGAN, then I'm going to have to punch you in the teeth.

Also, I eat more than grass and tofu, dumbasses.

Yup XD I seriously can't believe someone asked me if fruit is vegan or not...I did an art in reply to that a while ago, with a cow crapping fruit (and a turkey made out of vegetables, since the same person seemed to think chickens & turkeys aren't actually animals)It hurts my head to try and figure some people out XD

Yup! Someone recently told me how their family was having a bbq and one person attending was a vegetarian. He wondered if she might eat chicken. I told him "if she's actually a vegetarian then no, she won't. chickens are animals." response? "oh" gotta love derps.

I don't know what's more annoying, that, or when someone THINKS they're vegetarian but eats fish or chicken or something, or only eats beef once a week. First of all, you eat fish, you're a pescetarian. Eat chicken, you're a semi-vegetarian (at least that what I think it's called). Eat beef once a week, and you're just limiting your meat intake. sigh

You see, that's why people should go vegan. Less confusion.


I don't understand how people who eat fish dare call themselves vegetarians. Last time I checked, FISH IS NOT A FUCKING VEGETABLE!

Yeah, I've come to hate the word vegetarian and all it's branch offs...I was what's known as a "latco vegetarian" for years before I went vegan (no meat or eggs, but some dairy...namely cheese...I was in the dark about dairy for a long time) There are so many "types" of vegetarians it gives me a migraine. And when they label something as "vegetarian" even if the product is vegan...just makes things harder than they have to be. Why not just say vegan? it's shorter and takes up less space on the package anyway. /ramble XD

Probably not the grass, but It's hard to pass up free food as long as it's vegan.

The questions about what I do or don't eat are pretty bizarre- some people have to ask me if I drink milk, eat cheese, eat butter, all separately.

I think it's because they never think about where food comes from, so they don't have the mental connections between origin of the food and the food itself. Sometimes they don't even know where it comes from @_@

Those aren't nearly as stupid as the questions/veiled accusations about plants thinking and feeling, though:

Exactly, there's such a huge disconnect...most people have no idea what they're putting in their body...and a large majority of them don't really care (until it's too late)
