This is what happens when I watch too many paranormal shows. Also it's August now. That means it's officially Spooky Season and time to start getting your Halloween on. No I don't care that it's still 108 degrees out, it's fall now! So get out of the pool, grab a pumpkin spice latte and gather 'round for some paranormal pirate tales.

Well, isn't this the most charming little house you've ever seen! I'm sure it's loaded with treasures. That's why they're here, right? Or was this another impromptu adventure encouraged by Kit? After the whole dinosaur fiasco (still ongoing, btw!) I don't think Karnage is about to let him wander off to pet whatever cutesy demons are stalking them in those trees. Ah, at least they have a house to take shelter in. A perfectly safe house, yes. Nevermind the axe on the porch -- I'm sure those aren't blood stains -- or the ominous shadows lurking in the windows. Look, they have some jack-o'-lanterns. Maybe they're giving out candy! Better not be those cheap bite size pieces. Oh hey, the door just opened.... by itself? Eh, must be the wind.

This is a continuation of Spookified , Haunted & Paranormal Pranks . Actually, this is a prequel seeing as this scene would happen before the others. Mad Dog is there because both him and Dumptruck were along for this adventure too. I wasn't able to fit Dumptruck on this page but he's there somewhere. Actually, maybe he's in the house! Maybe that's why they're here. Not that Don Karnage would be eager to save his insignificant tail but maybe with a bit of persuading (demanding) from the boy? Hmm! I've been brainstorming where this might go, throwing around elements of some of my favorite horror movies, and have a few fun things in mind. At some point I'm gonna explain the cave they find (which is hidden within the walls of the house) and the snake ghost.

I started a follow-up to this last night with more spectral shenanigans but I wanna color this one too (which is why there's not as much shading on the sketch stage) so.. we'll see what gets done first. Either way, there may or may not be more to this "series". Happy Never-Too-Early For Halloween!
