I finally got caught up (almost) on "Survivors", which is by far my favorite book series right now. I don't care if it's intended for kids (so are a lot of things I love )! Life got busy and by the time I figured out the next book was out...the next two books were out! Which was nice for me because I got double the fun. The bad news is I enjoy them so much I literally fly through them and they're not very thick. I'm about to start chapter eighteen of "The Endless Lake" and there are only twenty four chapters. I'm sure I'll finish it tomorrow. Then I'm screwed 'cause I'm not even sure what the release date on the next one is. Well. I haven't read "Alpha's Tale" yet, apparently it's only available as an ebook? Feh. Call me oldskool but I like holding books in my hand, damnit.

Anyways! This might be a little spoilerish if you're not caught up on the series...you have been warned; don't read any further if you'd rather find some things out for yourself. .... okay? okay. ....

So, here we have Lucky (sheltie-retriever mix), Storm aka Lick -- not my fault if that spoiled anything, I warned you! (doberman pinscher) and Alpha the wolfdog. I assume Lucky is warning Storm not to give in to Alpha's taunts -- which is exactly what he wants. Alpha can be such a bastard. I think he's my favorite character. No, I'm serious. XD

Not exactly happy with this, the legs are messed up and the background makes me a sad panda...but it was fun drawing these characters. I do NOT agree with the images of Alpha as seen on the book covers. He looks too much like a purebred husky...except for his eyes (but guess what, huskies can have yellow eyes too) He's suppose to be "huge" and "wolfish", not to mention his fur is said to be grey and white but on the covers he's black and white...huh? I just don't think the pictures match his description in the books. So this is the way I see him, book characters are more fun when you imagine how they look in your mind anyway.
