This was a picture taken during the Cherry Blossom gathering in Van Nuys California. I still haven't completed the weapons yet so i was borrowing 's katana just so i could have something for now.

The scales... had to cut so many leather scales, dart them, then shadow the edges to give them more depth... around 1200 total
