So, my first submission
! I just got into Star Trek after I watched the new movie so of course I had to go back and watch every single episode from the original series and all 5 of the movies. And I quickly found a new pairing which I love. Can you guess? Well of course it's Bones/Spock! Isn't that obvious 
. jk. I love Kirk/Spock with all my heart. Any way, this is inspired by the fanfiction Home written by the most amazing Lanaea. I LOVE this story so much. Too bad I have no clue what chapter this was from. I don't even think this is exactly how she wanted the scene to look ^_________^". Oh well.

(I'm in the same boat. Loved the new movie, went back to watch TOS, fell in love.) There are still 6 movies. The one where Kirk dies with Picard in it is technically #7. 1=The Motion Picture, 2= Wrath of Khan, 3=Search for Spock, 4=Voyage Home, 5=Final Frontier, 6= Undiscovered Country. All Original Star Trek cast.

Im gonna go ahead and jump on the "I thought is was a swimming pool" bandwagon. I seriously thought it was....but then I was like...."wait...no, that doesn't make sense" and took a closer look.
I do love how you did the background. Especially the data screens in the back. Any tips as to how you did that?

YAY!!! Another person who thinks it's a swimming pool. I think I've come to love the idea of this background being a swimming pool. I really didn't see it at first but then I took a look at it in it's icon form and was all like "HOLY SHIT IT DOES!" I guess I shouldn't have chosen that color blue for a background.
Oh, the background was excedingly easy to do, and I'm a little embarrassed by it. I took a picture and MAJORLY altered it in photoshop and then stuck it into the background of the picture

the fact the it looks like a swimming pool is pretty cool! I think in every single comment I read, or at least a large chunk of them, it was mentioned that the light blue in the background resembled a swimmming pool. At least everyone can agree on what it looks like, right?
Anyway, before my mind was like "Swimming pool...?" it was more like: "Ooh. Pretty colours! ^____^" So I think it's lovely, even if it does look like they're about to take a swim. (wich wouldnt be too bad. I dont know about you, but I'd pay money to see Kirk and Spock swimming in a pool together.)

I like the background now that i know what it is... And i am freaked out by the sideburns on Kirk... Does he have those normally...? I love it, just so you know... I like your style, mucho original. Some more emotion would be good, like MedicatedManiac was asayin'... Spock looks almost >sad< to me... Nice hair on that Spock you got. By the way. Sorry about this spastic comment... Well, I may have exaggerated the sideburns a bit but Shatner has those pointy lookin' sideburns. I just realized after I saw Star Trek for the 3 time that Chris Pine doesn't. Why do they freak you out though?
Yeah, I know, I need more emotion. I'm usually quite good at that but this one just sorta fell short. I'd fix it but I've got TOO much to do.

I'm freaked out by the fact that i didn't know about them. After i saw this pic, i immediately went to google images and searched for him to confirm my suspicions.

Chris Pine is infinately hotter than Shatner. Shatner sorta disturbed me the first time I saw the old series. Chris Pine is also a better actor.
I love Yondaime but sadly no. It's England from Axis Powers Hetalia.
Kakashi's my favourite from Naruto. But an even better series than Naruto is Fullmetal Alchemist. Oh, Roy Mustang

For a second there I thought the background was a swimming pool then I looked at it again and was like 'ah no that's not a random person doing freestyle in the middle of the room' o.0
I really like the background though, it just how it loaded that made it look like a swimming pool to me in the first place...
Anyway I love this art! and man isn't Lanaea awesome! 'Home' is the most awesome fic ever which is saying something since I'm really a Bones and Jim kinda gal!

I love swimming pools
I know, Lanaea is the most amazing fanfiction writer ever and I've countless stories. I actually can't stand going more than a week without reading Home. I'm gonna be so upset when she finishes.
Jim/Bones is good. I also like Spock/Bones. I like Kirk/Spock the most though. If they all got together they'd make one hot threesome though

I have printed out what she has written so far and made my own book of it. I have only done that to one other story before ever. 'Two men and a motorbike' by Inell, and its sequel which are totally awesome as well. (I almost cried when Inell finished writing them...)
And if I remember correctly there is a scene in a swimming pool if which is pretty hot...
And yea so now you have me wanting a Bones/Jim/Spock threesome IN A SWIMMING POOL.

You've printed out every chapter O.O! That's the best book EVER! I wish I would've done that at the beginning but now that she's on chapter 30-something I don't think I'd have the pacience or the printer ink to do it

Um, hehehe, facial expressions have never been my forte (accenty thing on the e). But then I could say, Spock is relatively emotionless. Kirk on the other hand has enough emotion for the both of them. I could try changing his face but I'm not quite sure how it would turn out.
