Anyone here recognize him? I know, I know, I'm not the best at emulating styles. In fact, I rather suck at it.
(Though I think I have a shot at a decent Tails.) But the shirt should be a dead enough giveaway that it's Bubsy the Bobcat. Eh? You still don't recognize him? Story of my life. Well, I wouldn't quite expect you to. He was created as a mascot of sorts for the gaming company Accolade, though he never quite reached the popularity of other mascots such as Sonic or Mario. As such, he eventually faded into obscurity with the now defunct company. Whee. But, he's still a cute enough character! And his games were utterly absurd. And I mean that in a good way and a bad way. The weirdest, floaty-est controls you'd ever have, but also some of the wildest and wackiest environments and worlds I've ever seen... The first two, at least. The 3D one didn't seem to make it past the alpha stage even though it... was still released. 
Anyway, I don't has a story this time since I don't really know much about this character. Assuming there is anything to know. But! I found that I have quite a fondness for these neon phantom hands and feathers!
Those are Funderland Whisps. At least in Funderland that's what they're called. CX It wouldn't surprise me if he wound up passing through there on one of his first two wacky quests. So, there's your story. He wound up in Funderland, and everything went wrong. 
(Completed in the span of 24 hours. I'm gonna make this deadline.
)On another note! I need to work with higher DPI so things aren't so blurry.
This isn't so extreme, but it could still be better. Next time. X3

Yes, in my childhood I saw Bubsy 3D for Playstation. I really liked the design of the character, and I wanted so badly buy the game. I never had the chance to get it, luckily, as I found out the game was horrible.
I played his first two games on SNES. And I say both are quite unpleasant. After 2 minutes I get bored in play the games.
But yes, Bubsy is a nice character (even with his "rape" expression.) If at least their creators tried to do something decent... Well, 2012 is here. Someone interested in Bubsy would make a better game, no matter if it's a india game or made by a super corporation.

The 3D game is painful to watch, and the first two need a medical prescription to enjoy. XD
Unfortunately, his owning company went down a while back and his games were just too floaty to be properly enjoyed, but he's still got a cute design. It would be neat to see a more balanced remake of the game by an indie maker or something. X3

I'm now at 27, so I just need 3 more. =3 I drew this one over the course of 24 hours, so I'm in good condition.
For simplicity's sake, we can also just say he died. XD But, since he's an Emovere, he's only just "poofed". And as such, is not actually dead, but just returned to my mind for the time being until I send him out again. X3 It's up to you, really. X3
