Fishing on a dock when Rusty is the one holding the pole is much more Mustang's speed. Boats are scary. Water is scary. Fish are scary. Friends are nice tho. Mustang is really just happy to spend some time with his friend.

I haven't drawn Rusty Ratchet since 2021 when he appeared in "Haunted Basement" ( www.deviantart.com/soenjay/art… ), but he's honestly one of my favorite OCs.
In canon, he's the maintenance manager at Mustang's apartment building and is one of his closest friends. Their interests overlap with classic rock, classic cars, and the northern climate of Whinnysota.
