Description

This is a drawing I've done of a European badger. They're a squat omnivore that's in the family of mustelidae. They're found throughout Europe and parts of western Asia.

The ideal badger habitat is a mixture of woodland and open country. They're omnivores that mostly feed on earthworms and insects. However, they also predate small mammals, birds, bee and wasp nests, fish, reptiles, and have been know to kill lambs, although this is rare. They also eat berries, grass and fungi.

They live in a large burrow, which is called a sett. They're quite vocal when having sex. They can run for a short burst just below 20 mph.
