Synopsis : "Lincoln and Clyde go to an Ace Savvy convention."

It's time to lay out the full deck. Give me everything you got dealer .

Okay, that's out of the system. Let's begin. This special episode involves Lincoln and Clyde wanting to wow everyone at the Ace Savvy costume contest convention for a chance to be in the Ace Savvy movie. In order to stand out, they decide to get Lincoln's sisters to be the rest of the card themed heroes from their Ace Savvy comic, The Full Deck. When they get to the convention, the two keep screwing up in front of the judges, while the girls continue to impress. In fact, the judges want the girls in the movie, and not Lincoln and Clyde . They then decide to show they're heroes by releasing the Ace Savvy kitty and round him up so they can be seen as worthy of winning.

I like the message of the episode, with how being a hero is about doing the right thing, not for self gratification, but for the sake of others. How's the execution? It's pretty good. Lincoln and Clyde are definitely interesting here. While they do go to extremes for recognition, it's less about sabotage. At the very least, their behavior is not trying to bring others down, but to bring themselves up. To the sisters' credit, they do show open support for Lincoln however they can, and them showing the two boys up is simply just them trying to enjoy themselves.

Now we talk about the setting, and they definitely take advantage of it. There's a lot of homaging to classic heroes that definitely makes Ace Savvy pop out. Having the setting be at a convention also gives a geeky, whimsical vibe that you can't help but admire. As for the ending, the cat goes out of control, and causes a panic. The girls step in to save them, and Lincoln and Clyde confess to what they did and let them have the roles. They do get some part in the movie production, even if it involves litter duty. All in all, its quite entertaining.

The message isn't about what means to be a hero, the characters aren't heroes, but fans of comic book heroes. The message is simply to not be consumed by envy. Same moral was in Head Poet Anxiety and Hero Today Gone Tomorrow. This episode is about taking all siblings to have advantage on contest like Luna in House Music and Lana in Snow Way Out.

I wish this was made before Stan Lee died, as he could have made an on-screen cameo and dedicated this episode in his memory. Β This would have made this Stan's first Nick appearance.Β

This episode is bad. Lincoln is overshadowed by his sisters even in his own comfort zone, he couldn't be more pathetic, he reached the peak. Lincoln there was an attention seeking glory hunting jerk like he was in making the case. This shows he keeps forgetting past lessons, what butchers his character.

Sneak into the production studio and the script so that the sisters are portrayed as complete assholes who are Ace Savvy’s enemies. If that doesn’t work, make a comic book that does said thing.

Come not Lily she’s just a baby and blame the parents for spoiling the rest of the sisters rotten.

Well because even Lily got in the film in the original version, not even she will be spared.

As for the parents, killing them off would be a valid option at this point.
