Synopsis: "Steven and Connie sneak into a hospital to recover Rose’s sword.”

Steven Universe is a show that likes to play around with your expectations, and this is one of those times. Steven and Connie are hanging out when he suggests she uses his mother’s sword to practice. When her mom finds out, she takes it away and brings it with her to the hospital when she’s called in late. Steven and Connie try to get it back. The basic plot of the episode is good already as we get a fun little adventure inside the hospital that gets fairly creepy in the right way. The underlying subtext makes the episode as it goes into the relationship between Connie and her mother. Her mother is a bit overbearing, but that can be excused since she does look out for Connie. We get an awesome climax and the enhancement of their relationship, as well as a good moral on trusting others and being more open minded. I call it a good episode.
