Continuation from 8-Bit E1 (Open) Adoptable

Nadia.
She's the linchpin.
She's where I start.
I've known this for a while and back when we were in Deneb space, I had Nadia in my control. Just before I let her and her crew escape my wrath. I planted both passive and active controls in her. They were, of course, detected and removed.
And so they could rest easily, knowing they were safe.
Their mistake.
I also added code to her DNA, something devishly difficult, but having absorbed all of Tara's considerable knowledge in the past, it was doable. I don't understand any of the theory behind it but I know how to make it work. And using Tara's skills to hide it well. I ping it and it responds. No one's going to notice. It's way off the psionic grid.

As I'm traveling in FTL, I invoke threadmancer skill. Altering reality. Extremely useful skill. Another skill absorbed.

It's just as well I have these skills. McEnder doesn't have the ambition and Fontaine certainly lacks the skill and control. Their abilities will find greatness in me.

E1 materializes in a secure hangar in North Kingstown**, less than half an hour travel time from where she's at in New London.
I activate the transponder code in Ionescu's*** DNA. She now knows where I am. Of course, she doesn't understand how she knows. The Taracode reads her memories and constructs a plausible scenario where she thinks she knows and lies beneath the threshold of tampering detection.

Also, the code makes it clear she needs to investigate. Alone. I don't need the entire gang showing up on my front doorstep.
Less than fifteen minutes later, I detect Nadia flying over the compound. She's shielded but she's also leaking a bit. Eager to confront and capture me and also concerned I may be too much to handle. She's looking for a place to land.
I'll have to help her out...
