Dude, your 3D model of Unit 02 is totally cool. You should work for Weta Workshop. I hear they're in the early stages of the 1st Evangelion movie ... anyway, you've inspired me to do a robot for my capstone project in school. any words of wisdom for a newbie?

hmmm words of wisdome you say? lets see, dont be afraid to have a few reference pics that you like, they will help keep you on track. anytime you feel you need to start over, do so, because every time you do you get a better model and youll be able to anticipate problems better. my eva 01 model is actually my third attept that i finally got satisfied with.

well the robot is from a anime series called neo genesis evangelion and it had to look just right. the robot took me 4 days, but the rest of the scene took about an hour or so. but usually it takes me 4-5 hours to make my average picture. this one was kinda special because that anime is my favourite and i wanted everything on the robot to be spot on. thanx for your comment

And just so everybody wont ask, under author it says Michael Burns, but he was the one that contacted us and asked us to write and draw for certain sections of the book, and he pretty mutch did all the other work like editing and putting it all toghether.

yea i have even made a sachiel model to make a fight scene with eva 01, but i havnt had time to make the poses yet and build the background. ill do it soon though, i hate making a model and not using it
