I'm not exactly sure who this is, so you tell me. Aragorn? Halbarad? Some other random ranger? At any rate, you can bet he drew the short straw when they were deciding on patrols. This is my first real attempt at digital painting, so let me know how I can improve please. Thank you!Related content

horse is good (very very good) but horse head seems small for its body and your draw need some line and lighting maybe little shading.. but your drawing is cool especially for first time. forget the other characters, find him a real name

LOL thanks. Yeah, you're entirely right about the horse. The head has been bugging the heck out of me. I'll be sure to get that right on the next one. I'm seriously going to have to figure out how to shade without making the thing look like modern art (which I don't really care for). Also, I'm not quite sure what you mean by "some line". Is it too blurry? Anyway, thanks a million for the critique, I'll be sure to try to improve on these things.
Oh, and as for who it is...*shrugs* I was just doing a tribute to Lord of the Ring's rangers in general, and seeing as I love Halbarad and (especially) Aragorn, I don't really mind if it's them. However, you may have a point...I may go dig up something just for kicks.
