Woooo, it feels like just yesterday I was drawing "Sailorhelga" fanart, only to see from the date that it was all the way back in '07. Crazy, crazy.

ANYWAY! Here I be, back again, with new fanart for the lovely "Unsure-Dreamer-87," or as she's known on here.

For those who have yet to see the other art I'd done for her, or read the story, itself, it's a "Hey, Arnold!" fanfic, initially/primarily posted over on FanFiction . Net called "Sailor Helga," as I'd already revealed. And, of course, it is obviously a slight x'over with Sailormoon, only except Helga and her friends (Phoebe, Rhonda, and would/might be "Big Patty" and Lila) are Sailor Senshi.

So, yeah! Seeing as she'd finally, FINALLY updated and finished what is apparently to be the first installment of three, perhaps, I thought I'd help celebrate by drawing this lil' numbah for her.

Since, as it's to my understanding, Helga won't/wouldn't be Princess Serenity (at the risk of spoiling future events for you would/will-be readers to moki's fic), but, at the same time, would still be A princess, AND moki didn't/doesn't really have anything set for her about that, I thought I would do so, myself. LoL

So, THIS time, at least, this piece of fanart for the story is/was all my doing, unlike the other pieces I'd just followed from what was written, blah blah.

And so, seeing as Helga's basically the Sailormoon of the group, but NOT gonna be Princess Serenity, I made her Princess Harmonia, which, by the way, isn't/wasn't made up, just how Serenity wasn't/isn't really really made up.

Ya know, that she was based upon Goddess Selene and all that jazz, etc.

Yeah, well, seeing as I AM the avid Mythology geek I've always been, LoL, I based Helga's princess form/"identity" off of the Goddess Harmonia, Greek goddess of harmony and concord, etc, and daughter of Aphrodite and Ares (or Hephaestus, as that, for WHATEVER reason, is usually an "Um...I dunno which one's the daddy, for real, so...take your pick??" whenever discussed, like I remember back in school. Whatever. LoL).

It's kinda funny, though, seeing as HELGA, Miss Grouchy Pants (although for good reason), would have been the basic epitome of peace and hippie love and such in her past life. LoL Wait till she finds that out for herself.

Anyway! Guess I'll do the usual rundown LoL:

Hairstyle and Face: Got mainly inspired by her "disguise" as Cecile in the oh-so freaking adorable (and always makes me cry LoL) "Arnold's Valentine" episode, when she'd posed as his pen pal from France in order to finally let him know how she felt about him ("with no risk involved, because it won't be ME telling him, but Cecile! Okay, well not maybe Cecile-Cecile, but ME-Cecile!" LoL), and after her "Crazy Poodle Do" got messed up and let down by nature after puking her guts out from having eaten cat brains and eggs

ANYWAY! SINCE her hair is apparently a bit on the wavy side by default when let down, that's what I did (after also getting Sailormoon-ish inspired, as well, since I do recall a LOTTTTTTTTTTTTT of Sailormoon characters, main or otherwise, usually had wavy hair, as well ), with the infamous hair falling over her left eye bit that had happened in that episode, as well. ^_^

Seeing as that's what Arnold really truly started to notice her (well, besides when they'd first met back in Preschool, and the fact that he didn't know it was her at this/Valentine time...bleh LoL), I thought I'd capitalize upon that fact by making her hair the same way, but a bit longer in this form, as well.

Oh, and ONLY because this IS her princess form AND past life (and so therefore, they are naturally two completely different people, even if the same soul, etc), I DIDN'T keep Helga's infamous unibrow. Not because I think that's the only time she's "pretty" if w/out it, nope. But as a consolation, I did make them mildly thick and purposefully a teeny tiny bit close together, as though they COULD inevitably transition into good ol' unis if her ladies-in-waiting or whomever got lazy on the royal primping one day. LoL

Royal Sigil: Honestly? Just the zodiac sign of Libra. LoL BUT, since that's also usually associated with "balance" and all that jazz, which in turn can also be associated with "harmony," in that case, it's why I'd chosen it. I like it. LoL

Eye Color: In the present life, I made it green, since, again, a LOT of fanfic writers (or artists) tend to make them blue, while Arnold's is green. Only on RARE occasions I'll see/read the reverse, OR her eyes be made brown, even. But I digress. In the PAST life, however, they're gray, for the simple fact that gray eyes are quite stunning, regardless of the person/skin tone. And Helga, herself, is a stunning character all around, and I'd imagine, if she really HAD been a princess in a past life, she'd be just as breathtaking then, as well.

Try and resist her NOW, Arnold. LoL

Bow: NO, that is not a damned Gypsy bandanna on her head, before someone gets smart on me. LoL ~_~ It's supposed to be one of those huge hair bows you tie into/around your hair, etc. OBVIOUSLY, in Helga's case, I'd like to think of this, this past life and this bow, as the origin for it all. Why she wears a pink bow all the time in her current life, that is. Yeah, yeah, I know it's cuz of Arnold and back in preschool and all that, yeah, but I meant in THIS version, while still because of him (as it was a gift from him, which I'm just making up/throwing out there LoL), it was because her past self fancied them well before her reincarnated self did, as well.

I like it, damn it. LoL ^_^'

Earring: Yes, singular. As in, she's only wearing ONE earring on purpose, yes. Why?? Because it's the heart shaped locket she has in the present life. ^_^ But her past self charmed/wore it as an earring, instead, since around that time, she had been bestowed onto her her necklace.

Besides, one earring would be something Helga WOULD do, seeing as she was never one to conform, and I'm sure that goes for ANY lifetime, past or present.

Necklace of Harmonia: ...."True" story. LoL SEEING as she's mildly based upon the Goddess of the same name, I'd decided to go out all out and bestow upon her the cursed "Necklace of Harmonia," which was given to her (the Goddess) on her wedding day (ain't that a bitch?? LoL), and was said to grant the wearer eternal youth/beauty, BUT great misfortune, as well. Typical. LoL ~_~

And yeah, apparently "no one really knows" what that bitch looked like, save that it was made of gold (OF course LoL), and had two serpent heads which formed the clasp. Sooooooo, that's what I did, more or less. That is, made it shaped like a serpent, but not the same design, and obviously not made of gold, either. Make it emerald, for all I care. LoL

But it works out, being a serpent, since Helga did end up fancying that Iguana which had eaten that blabber mouth parrot that almost told Arnold her feelings after hearing her say it in her sleep.

So...yeah. Close enough. LoL

Gown: Obviously it'd be pink in color scheme, seeing as it IS Helga, after all ^_^ There's not much to say about it, seeing as I'd purposefully made it a simple, yet sleek/still eye-catching design, as I can't honestly see Helga wearing over the top gowns, even as a princess and different personality back then, as well. ^_^ Put a big rose upon the bosom as just a mild reminder of "Tuxedo S," a.k.a. Arnold of the present life (even though he wasn't Tuxedo S in the past life, but yeah LoL).

And there ya have it! ^_^ I swear, while drawing this, a whole PLATOON of storyline ideas for moki's next installment (since she apparently is still kinda developing it, and so therefore nothing is set in stone quite yet) kept running through my head. ^_^

Like, since Harmonia (the actual Goddess) was the daughter of Aphrodite, and seeing as fanfic writers usually make her the mother of Princess Venus in the past life, etc, AND since Lila would/will be the "new" Sailorvenus in this story, in the past life she and Helga were sisters. I'd love to read Helga's reaction to that lil' tidbit. LoL And seeing as Ares would've been their daddy, it'd certainly explain present life Helga's fiery nature (no pun intended, and even though he wouldn't be her father IN said life, but whatever), too. ^_^

And the whole necklace of Harmonia could have been Lila's doing, who, at the time (in the past life), was jealous of her courtship with Arnold, the Prince (w/e the Hell his name would/will be back then LoL), as she was technically the much more beautiful of the two sisters, numbah one, and then Arnold was the one she primarily wanted, rather than the other many suitors she had flocking to her naturally, as the second daughter of the Goddess of Love, and all. So she'd struck a deal with WHATEVER main baddie (who, of course, was all too happy to take advantage of Lila's foolish pettiness and jealousy, etc) moki can make up and was the primary driving force for their version of the Silver Millennium's fall, blah blah, and made the necklace and its attached (secret) curse what it is. Helga puts it on, it sets off a chain of events which lead to hers and Arnold's separation, the end of their kingdoms, and the baddies winning, whatever.

The end. LoL

Oh, yeah, and then of COURSE, once all those memories are uncovered in the present life, present-Lila, being the goody-two-shoes she is, would feel "ever so guilty and remorseful for (her) actions!" and get all depressed or some B-Story plot device. LoL
