I can't understand it either, but it's only a matter of drawing it for a couple of times.
I think the drawing and the hind legs turned out very good, to be honest. I like the way you make shadows and those hair.

That's because this time I used a reference. I still don't quite understand how do them legs bend.

I'm sure you'll get the hang of it soon. Using references is probably a good idea to practice/study their anatomy.
