I didn't really have much issues with the touch screen, except when it came down to that sand weapon thing. Don't get me wrong, it works fine when using it against sand, but it is a pain in the ass when solving those block puzzles.
I try to move a block to the left and it ends up going up.
I try to move it up and it goes to the right.
I try to move it to the right and it goes to the left.
It can be really frustrating. >=/

i like the above two statements
i never had such a problem like this in spirit tracks or phantom hourglass.
so i disagree with soks example here,
but i agree with the theme, because some games; scribblenauts, "allready mentioned above" caused such situations that the comic lovingly detailed.
but i wouldn't be so easilly led and just blame the touch controls,
iirc there were plenty of snes games with horrible d pad control

My sentiments exactly. Touch controls can be good but I like how pokemon did it better than Zelda, which went full-touch with no other options.

I try to sympathize, but my only problem is with the mic. I was trying to play one of those songs, and the mic wouldn't pick up my breath, so the song wouldn't play. Other than that, I actually kinda like the touch controls!

I know how you feel, I was so shocked when I gave a shot of my friend's Zelda on the ds. I almost killed the little guy ; __ ;

Because they have to try to squeeze as much use out of that worthless screen as possible.

I still enjoy the system and its library of games, despite some of its drawbacks.

Meh. I think the only real uses for that second screen are showing a level map for games like Metroid and the GBA Castlevania games, and showing your inventory.

As ev1lempyr said, Spirit Tracks... though this could VERY MUCH apply to Scribblenauts as well.

Ah, duh. (it's in the title!)
I've never heard of it.
Have you seen ZeroPunctuation's review of scribblenauts?
