Description
Ink - Sakura Sumi Brush Pen - based on Kirby/Sinnott panel in FF, way back. I altered the pose, features and rendering to suite my understanding so I could feel around the forms. Looks like a Kung Fu stance.

The focus is on using a particular grading method to show hemispheric convexity. In this case, it is tweaked to suggest texture, as well.

It's coming along nicely, so I'm posting before I mess with the big blacks. Still very loose and naturalistic compared to work by, say, But first we master the concepts, then become competent with a technique; finally we generalize the principles of what we know and do to include other techniques. One thing at a time.
